Fernhill Farm, Cloud Cuckoo Land’s beautiful home in 2011 and beyond, will be serving delicious and nutritious homemade fare from one of their barns. Food will include breakfasts, lunches and suppers – both vegetarian and carnivorous – plus barbecued delights!
Wherever possible, our festival cafe will use fresh produce grown or reared on Fernhill Farm with ZERO food miles! We’re committed to supporting local producers, and will ensure that full vegan options are available throughout the weekend.

With much of our fresh produce grown in Fernhill’s permaculture garden, we’d like to involve attendees through a series of interactive workshops, including principles of permaculture, foraging and food harvesting! Food waste will be composted on-site, providing an essential source of nutrients for next year’s growth, while any non-compostable waste will be recycled creatively on-site, or disposed of locally, to reduce unnecessary transport emissions.
We’re sure Fernhill’s delicious roast meats and fresh, wholesome vegetarian fare will speak for itself. Just in case, we’ll try and involve our attendees in our innovative food policy wherever possible, with information on sourcing available and expert speakers scheduled.
