Our 2012 line up is growing day by day. Prepare your body, mind and soul for 3 days of explosive sonic expression, combining festival heavyweights and the UK’s finest underground and emerging artists with eclectic DJing over 5 stages, including an interactive cycle powered system, a vintage Cuckoo Club, and our full power sheep Shearing Barn.

Yes Sir Boss

Yes Sir Boss rocked up in Bristol in 2008 armed with a style un-definable and energy unrivaled. They’ve caused storms at the UK’s most beloved festivals (Glastonbury, Bestival, Green Man, Shambala…) and have fashioned a truly new sound. Distinct but indefinable. A flawless blend of cinematic rock, flecked with hints of roots music.

Blessed with a rough-around-the-edges bravado, this Bristol-based rabble perform their live shows with a thrilling charm that is both bold and sincere. Epic riffs and stirring horns back the gruff howl of front man Matthew Sellors as YSB power through their songs with quirky magnificence.

United Vibrations

Up and running since 2004, United Vibrations were originally labelled a “ska, funk band.” They’ve since pioneered a genre, a unique dance music called 12tone that draws on the global rhythms to form a highly infectious sound that has no boundaries. It combines the intelligence of jazz with the rawness of punk.

12-tone reflects the high tempo, multi-cultural frenzy of London, the home of all the bands members.

Alejandro & the Magic Tombolinos

Led by Alejandro Toledo (Bachelor in Classical Saxophone Performance, Masters in Gypsy Saxophone Performance), this high energy quintet deliver utterly breathless live performances. Gypsy punk with African, Latin and Middle-Eastern beats – the 2010 winners of Channel 4′s Evo Rooms are guaranteed to dance the socks of your feet.

Joe Driscoll

Creating waves on both sides of the Atlantic are the transcendental sounds of modern day one man band, Joe Driscoll. His revolutionary take on music is without boundaries. Effortlessly fusing hip-hop, reggae, soul, folk and roots rock to create a completely original and unique sound; an innovator not only for the genre defying music he creates, but for the groundbreaking way in which he performs it.

A true renaissance man, Driscoll is a lone figure on stage and in the studio, yet is able to create the complete soundscape of a full band utilizing heavy vocal percussion, an array of instruments, a loop pedal, and a lot of imagination.

The Drop

The Drop, are a 9-piece roots-rock-reggae outfit based in and around London. They are part of the small but significant front-line of British new-wave reggae bands. They are pushing with a sincere awareness for the British reggae revival that has been a long time in the coming.

They are a challenge to the prevailing trends, an alternative to the alternative, and the songs are musically undeniable!

ASM (A State of Mind)

A.S.M’s live show moves effortlessly between Funk, Hip Hop and Reggae and they have been compared in their sound to the likes of Jurassic 5, The Pharcyde, People Under The Stairs, A Tribe Called Quest and De La Soul. Principally composed of multi-national lyricists Green-T and FP, as well as MPC-wizard Fade, the A.S.M Platypus crew extends to include the 6ix Toys horn section Mack-Hi and Pow-Lo on Saxophone and Trombone and a full Audio Visual show designed by A.S.M to compliment and interact with their music.

Coco’s Lovers

Cocos Lovers are an eight piece band from the cinque port of Deal on the Kent coast. Formed in 2008, they are a young close knit band in the truest sense of the word – made up of husbands, wives, brothers, sisters and friends. The chemistry created by this interesting group of musicians is producing both critically acclaimed recordings and live performances. This have recently seen them feature in The Independent, Froots Magazine and Acoustic Magazine, as well as on BBC6 Music (‘ I Love It’ – Guy Garvey).

After forming in 2008 they traveled to Europe and spent three months playing, writing and exploring different ways of living, which has influenced many of the tracks featured on their debut album ‘Johannes’.

Pippa Marias

Introducing the new Swedish electro/pop sensation Pippa Marias, a Gothenburg-bred quartet making catchy and melodic tunes inspired by the beat of the streets of London and pure unashamed Swedish pop. They’ve played alongside Pendulum and Mark Ronson in at Freeze Festival, and recently enjoyed their Club NME debut at KOKO.

Achilles

Achilles are a 7-piece, primarily instrumental band. Musically, they bring a genre-defying fresh mix of sounds, drawing influence from Jazz, Rock, Drum and Bass, Electronica, Dub and soundscapes. Rob da Bank described them on his radio show as ‘Fantastic… like DJ Shadow but playing it live.’
