Cloud Cuckoo Land are delighted to welcome the People’s Kitchen to our mythical Utopia. Their innovative food policies and super talented chefs will provide crew food at this year’s celebration.

The People’s Kitchen is an exciting new community enterprise, cooking up a revolution from Dalston’s creative hub, Passing Clouds. Their model of salvaging food waste, using volunteers to prepare a sumptuous feast and asking for donations only from the hungry masses has created a growing movement, which continues to gather pace.

The People’s Kitchen use food waste, kindly donated and collected from local suppliers, recycling delicacies that would otherwise be heading to landfill. Come and join us around the communal table on Sunday at Cloud Cuckoo Land!

Using local suppliers and enjoying support from local people, the People’s Kitchen has toured London and Bristol, raising funds for other community kitchens and developing a 3 course, pop-up, fine dining experience – the Beggar’s Banquet.

Last year’s Cloud Cuckoo Land was the project’s festival debut. We were truly honoured. Power to the People.
